For anyone hard of understanding, McDonald's is a fast food restaurant that specialises in burgers, although the shakes are really good.
Now unless you have been living a life as a recluse for some time now, you'll have had how bad junk food is for you rammed down your throat!
Recently Steve Webb, Liberal Democrat MP and sitting duck, decided to mouth off about a promotional line that McD did for the World cup.
And, as did come a little surprise to me he was subjected to criticism and ridicule for opening his mouth, not for being a Lib Dem, but for not being very liberal!
Every time that McD does something boneheaded I'm the first in line to take the piss out of them for it (still can't figure why I don't get promoted!) but this prat deserved everything he got!
Everybody has choices in this life -
whether to smoke or not (just),
whether to learn to drive or take public transport everywhere
whether to holiday on an 18-30 in Ibiza or an all inclusive in Tenerife
And whether to eat a lot or not.
I'm a liberal through and through, and been told on several occasions that I have problems with authority (usually when getting a bollocking for something) so when someone wants to tell me what I can and can't have I will abuse and ridicule them. When that person is in fact supposed to be Liberal themselves it leaves me speechless!!!
Just because there are people out there who can't control what they eat and do not bother to educate or control their offspring is basically NOT my problem. I still expect to have that choice available to me and not have to pander to state nannying and interference!
