I find myself a fairly rare commodity in the company. I'm one of less and less that is in a relationship with someone who doesn't also work for McDonald's. Sounds strange but true.

Where I used to work there were a few flings, affairs and relationships, but certainly not to this extent!

Go into any restaurant and there will be at least 5 people there who are or have had a relationship or fling with someone else in the company.

The reason is not as debauched as some might think (although there have been a few incidents.......), it's all down to the shifts.

We all work shifts that are incompatible with most relationships - regular early starts, late finishes and weekends. Whilst the shifts themselves aren't too bad, trying to have a relationship around them is a pain in the arse, especially if your partner is an office 9-5 junkie.

So a couple of nuggets for you (pardon the pun!)
If you are struggling to find a partner and you think you can actually handle working for McD's (as in the pressure not the stigma) then it could well be the place for you.
If on the other hand you're in a relationship with someone who works 9-5 monday to friday, then your relationship had better be secure if you come working with us, or it simply won't last!
